It was then time to check in to our hotel, which we'd book as a secret deal, so we didn't find out where we were staying until we had paid for it.

When Tom saw the decor he said "if somebody lived here, we'd hate them".

There was a lovely view out of the window though and we got a bargain on the place.

Breakfast was included with our room and you got to make your own waffles.

My one turned out perfectly. I had the flavour of the day batter which had yogurt in it.
