In the evening we headed to the Westfair Ampitheatre in Council Bluffs, Iowa to see Bright Eyes and Jenny Lewis' new band.

Jenny And Johnny came onstage as the sun was setting. The best bit of the set was when Jenny sang Silver Lining. We bumped in to Mike Mogis again and he gave us a new list of places to check out and introduced us to another Scottish person living in Omaha.

It was really dark by the time Bright Eyes came on and you could see the stars. It was still really hot out. The gig ended around midnight and we weren't sure how to get home but we managed to cab share with a lovely couple who also lived in downtown.
