Afterwards we went for a walk around the Heartland Of America park which is huge with a gigantic fountain in the middle.

The geese had eggs and baby chicks were hatching from them.

We headed down to the Missouri to see how high the water had risen and I spotted a frog!

There were huge fish swimming in the pond and they looked like sharks with their fins poking out of the water.

In the evening we headed out to the Taste Of Omaha festival which was taking place in the Heartland Of America park. There were lots of stalls selling food from all over the country and fairground rides.

We were too full to eat anything but it was still fun looking around.

Tom bought some donuts that tasted like play dough.

I managed to get a video of the eerie fish in the pond.

We took a walk in the park afterwards to work off the food where we got to see a cute baby duck and how high the river had become.

Danion Mead told us that we might get to see fireflies if we headed to the park after sunset, so we went on the hunt for them in the Heartland of America park.

As soon as we got to the park, we spotted them under the trees and they were so pretty.

We went to see the river, saw my two favourite ducks and headed back to the lofts just before the storm set in.

Feeling sad but not defeated, we headed to the park to take photos anyway.

I made friends with Chef Boyardee and Tom was very jealous.
