We headed home to prepare for Gordon Ramsay's cook along. We fell behind a couple of times but it was okay because we were able to pause the TV.

We then went for a walk around Maida Vale to spot pumpkins.

I was a little sad that I didn't have my own pumpkin to carve this year but on the way home I spotted some tiny pumpkins in the window of Avalon Flowers. I picked one up and they told me to check out the pumpkins in the window of Plan 9, a cafe across the road.

We headed home, where Tom was waiting for us and got ready to start the cook along. I carved my mini pumpkin!

This time the starter was a mint and pea soup.

The main course was lasagne, which I made with Quorn mince and was equally as yummy.

The dessert was lemon syllabub, with ginger biscuits crumbled on top.

Louise Blackwood was down in London again today for another job interview. When she was finished, she came over to the Mews armed with wine and Cadbury Creme Eggs.

We sat outside on the street and drank our wine, it was so lovely and sunny.

We then made some nest cakes with various sweets as toppings in time for Alexandra Metaxa's party.

Louise Blackwood came over after work today and we ordered noodle boxes from Ned's Noodles which we ate outside on the Mews. They're so tasty!

Tom's parcel from Saddle Creek arrived this morning with the new Bright Eyes record, t-shirts and other goodies.

The record is really cool with spiky flames!

Tonight we had Louise Blackwood come over and set up her blog on Fblog. She's the second ever user so it was awesome to see how our check-in's worked together. I'm so addicted to it and I know she will be too!

On the walk home we spotted a super cute fox, which was really tame and didn't mind us stopping to take photos for five minutes.

Dress update: I found some linen for the sailor dress I’m making in Soho. I had to haggle with some wise-cracking Cockney’s to get it but it was only £5 a meter. I almost finished it but then I ran out of white thread. I’m going to have enough fabric leftover to make a matching sailor hat too!

There’s lots of cute spray painted foxes hidden around Maida Vale and Queen’s Park. I’m going to try and hunt them all down.

When we got back to the Mews, we discovered this amazing portrait that Raven had painted of us as our Christmas present. She’s captured every little detail, like the necklace we gave her as a leaving present.

This morning we jumped in the car and drove off to explore Wiltshire and the Cotswolds.
