Tom’s parents picked us up from the station and whisked us off to the forests near Falkland for lunch at the Pillars of Hercules.

The food was incredible and all vegetarian, so I was spoilt for choice. I went for the bean burger which came with super tasty salads. It was really cold inside the cabin so I’m glad we didn’t sit outside under the icicles.

It looked so pretty when we were leaving, all lit up with fairy lights.

We warmed up back at the Pillars Of Hercules with some drinks and nibbles. They had a delicious seed salad the last time I was in so I asked if they had any, which they didn’t but they shared their recipe with me.

This morning we went through to the Pillars Of Hercules for lunch with my Nana.

Tom's parents were also there, which was a funny coincidence.

I had a really tasty veggie burger.

Tom and I then share a datey, which is a cake that has no sugar but tastes sweet because of the dates. I need to get the recipe!

This afternoon, Tom's parents took us to an awesome little cafe and farm shop called The Pillars of Hercules, which was tucked away, deep in the woods of Fife.

It was very cold inside, so we had to wrap up warm while we sipped on coffees and shared vegan gingerbread and carrot cake.There was a face in my coffee.

I enjoyed looking at all the brightly coloured vegetables.

I also got a couple of beeswax candles for my Mum and Nana.

Tom’s parents took us to the Pillars Of Hercules, which is a lovely vegetarian cafe, farm house and organic shop in the woods just outside Falkland.

It looked very pretty in the snow.

I had pumpkin curry with apple and pear juice, which was very tasty. They came round with glasses of hot apple and cinnamon punch for everyone too.

There’s usually a cute little cat which cuddles up to you in there, but today there was a nice dog hanging around.

We went for lunch at the Pillars of Hercules today, which has become a bit of a NYE tradition.

I had been craving the veggie burger and it tasted just as good as I was imaging it to be. My Mum and I are going to try and make our own next week.

We've all had a bit of a cold this week, so I tried a carrot, apple and ginger juice which was sure to cure me.
