Today we drove to the old pirate town of Masca. The roads were so windy and small, it was scary when two cars had to pass.

We walked out to the cafe on a the ridge. Where we had Canarian potatoes. These are so good and they come with different sauces in each restaurant you go to.

I had a tasty walnut tart after, while everyone else indulged with chocolate gateaux. Afterwards I tried some cactus jam in the shop which tasted just like strawberry jam.

Everyone carves their names in to the cactuses but I think it’s a bit cruel. This one looked like a face.

There were lots of cute cats everywhere, perhaps they were pirate cats. I made myself a wreath out of daisies.

Tom found a magical door to nowhere and tried not to fall down the cliff.
