I joined my parents on their trip here last year but this was Tom’s first time, so he was really excited by the apartment and the pool.

In the evening I did some work and then we played outdoor pool.

We got back to the apartment just in time for sunset.

For Christmas, I got my Mum a risotto making lesson at Jaime Olive’s cooking school and on Thursday she went along to the class. So, for dinner tonight, she showed off her new skills and it was delicious.

After handing out the rest of our food it was time to go back to the hotel for a swim. The pool was cold so we warmed up with ice creams. There was also a cute cat sunning itself.

We drank “fruthies” and played pool back at the hotel until it was time to leave for the airport.

It took ages to drive home through the windy little mountain roads. We had dinner and then had some of the cakes we brought back from the bakery. Tom and I had nutty cakes and a marzipan strawberry. I got my Dad a volcano rock cake.

Afterwards we headed back to the hotel and went swimming.

We hired a car and heading for the hotel, which was quite hard to find as they all looked so similar. I crashed out as soon as we got in and slept straight through until the evening.
