When I saw the future, the geeks were right…

On Wednesday, Tony, Tom and I headed to Bug 11 with Adam Buxton. It was very funny but now have this song in my head:

I’ve had another fun week saying yes to things. January was very busy and February is looking even more so. I’ve been jogging every single day, which means I’ve been getting through a heap of podcasts and learning all kinds of things – like public speaking, being more green, the evil jobs of marketing and sales, and how to get things done. I also joined the dentist, who was amazed that I hadn’t been in 6 years, and said my teeth were in perfect condition – yay!

Today we were invited to London Edge – a trade buyer show where alternative fashion sellers show off their new lines.

We walked around for a few hours and chatted to various brands. The people from Monkey Genes were so nice, they make a line of jeans made from organic materials. I think Tom’s going to quiz them for Snippets.

It was very interesting getting to meet the brands I have worn in person.

I love goodie bags and I think they should be revived (something I may be writing about for Venus Zine). I got a pretty awesome one today which had a t-shirt, perfume, playing cards, pin up girl transfer tattoos (another thing I want to make cool again), magnets, posters, a tote bag and lot’s of other little things. I just love free stuff.
