This weekend, Clash mag sent me off to T in The Park in Kinross. Luckily, Wendy was heading along too, so I managed to meet up with her. We spent Saturday wandering around between the tents watching bands like Kate Nash (who had a teapot on her piano), Blood Red Shoes, CSS and Miss Kitten.
I spent the the evening in the Pet Sounds tent where I got right to the front for Bright Eyes (amazing obviously!) and a bit of Rufus Wainwright. I watched The Killers before heading home to my nice warm bed – I only live down the road.
When I arrived on Sunday, Avril Lavigne was just finishing off her set on the main stage. I had access to the hospitality area which, as far as I could tell, gave me access to a bar where drinks cost £1.50 than the bars just outside it. I got to see Biffy Clyro (for the 10th time probably), Interpol who were awesome, The Gossip, Maximo Park, Queens Of Stoneage, Badly Drawn Boy, Tori Amos and Damien Rice. I saw a little bit of Snow Patrol before heading home with the fireworks banging behind me.
