Party like it’s 1899…

It’s been raining horribly, so after a busy week, we’ve had quite a quiet weekend.

On Thursday, Grazia were hosting a shopping evening on Carnaby Street, which was a bit like Fashion’s Night Out, so most of the shops were offering a 20% discount, had DJs and were giving out free drinks and nibbles. I headed along with Lynz and Emma.

Shopping while drunk is fun but maybe not the best idea as I ended up buying lots of homeware from Muji, t-shirts for Tom and loaning Emma the money for a dress for the Chanel Christmas party.

hats

We went for dinner at Cha Cha Moon, which was really yummy and then we did a bit more shopping. Emma tried on a traindriver hat, Lynz a trainspotting beanie, and I found a Brownie hat like I use to have when I was little. We all got very soaked on the way home.

pizza

On Saturday, we thought we’d avoid the rain by hiding out in Westfield, but I think everyone in London had the same idea. I tried on pretty rings in Tiffany and then had the most amazing pizza ever at Fire & Stone. It was topped with sweet potato and sprinkled with macadamia nuts.

I also got a cute dress in a sale and a pair of boots, so that I can stomp in puddles.

Tonight we went for dinner with Jason (who’s down visiting from Dundee) and Debbie, which was fun. Our first press release goes out tomorrow, so we’re having to work super hard tonight to get the site all nice and updated.
