We went to Canary Wharf today.
It’s strangely eery there now with the falling stock market and job cuts, but I like walking between the big buildings, it makes me feel like I’m in the borrowers.
I love the underground shopping malls, they reminds me of Canada, but Canary Wharf was designed by Canadians so that makes sense. They had a cool mannequin dressed in newspaper pages (I’d totally wear that). The toilets had really nice mirrors which do this to your eyes. I want a mirror that does that.
On the subject of newspaper, I was reading the London Paper on the tube back and there were some interesting facts about Iceland. Did you know that up to 80% of the population believe in elves and fairies? That’s really cool. Anyway, I’ve attached the rest of the article if anyone wants to read it.
The Ocado man is delivering our grocery shopping between 10 – 11 pm tonight, I love not having to go food shopping anymore.
