We’ve just got back from a very interesting trip to London and it looks like we may be moving there in less than two weeks. While we were down, Tom had a job interview with Drowned In Sound, a music site we’ve been fans of for ages. It was a bit weird because I ended up going on the interview with him, but it was fine because they liked Cut Out + Keep and gave me Martha Wainwright’s new album, which doesn’t come out until next month.
Anyway, we had lots of fun on our holiday. We stayed at an EasyHotel in Victoria, which was bright orange. Tom really liked the water-fountains at Somerset House.
They do screenings in the summer and I’d love to come back for some.
We also went to the London Transport Museum which was lots of fun. They had a frame filled with all the lost property they had found on the tube. It was really cool looking at all the things – lot’s of toys and keys. I wonder what they would do if you saw something that was yours?!
Tom got to try driving a tube train…
and a bus…
and I watched him via CCTV.
We also got some purikura photos taken. I can’t wait to get back down.
