This is the other kitty, Special, who likes to hang around our mews. She was quite nervous at first, but now she’s made friends with us. I think our neighbors are away in Texas, playing at SXSW, so the cats have been hanging around at our place a lot recently.
This week has been really busy, with different events happening every day. I’m suppose to be at a huge craft convention right now, but I’m too sick to go 
– I will go tomorrow. Last night I was at a book launch for Charity Shopping & The Thrift Lifestyle. It was quite interesting and I met a comedian who seems to be friends with, or has dated, every famous artsy person who ever lived in London.
On Tuesday night we were at Sean’s ‘Not going to SXSW’ party at the Texas embassy, which aside from the tacky decor, served delicious frozen margaritas. I got to speak to a real girl from Texas, who told me terrifying stories about her experiences with tornados.
I was listening to a podcast the other day that said people have more trust in people with lower toned voices. We’re off to a conference about craft tonight and as I’ve been struck down with this horrible cold that’s going around, my voice is really low and husky – I’m going to use it to my advantage *evil cackle*.
