Yesterday was gorgeous and sunny, so we headed down to Westbourne Park and sat in a beer garden next to the canal. I have guesties for Hundred Reasons (a band I haven’t seen since I was a teenager) on Monday, so I need to think up a Q&A for them and also prepare an interview for the awesome Princess Superstar. After that we headed down to World’s End, to drool over Vivienne Westwood couture, and have lunch at Sloane Square.

We discovered the most amazing view of North London from the cafe in Peter Jones, you can see for miles!

One of the neighbours, who runs a film company, was getting rid of loads of office equipment and gave me a filing cabinet (yay, I was about to pay £50 for one from Rymans). I picked up a bunch of drop files and set up a tickler file. A tickler file is 43 folders, labeled January – December, and the rest numbered 1 – 31. You have a folder for each day, where you keep all your relevant info for that day (gig tickets, invites, letters etc), and as each day passes, you move it backwards so that the front folder is the new day. It’s a neat little way to keep organized!
