It was a super grey day in London today, so we headed out on an adventure to cheer ourselves up. We ended up in East Indian at Trinity Bouy Wharf, which is a super crazy place.
We found Fatboy’s Diner, which is in the film Sliding Doors (they make it seem like it’s in West London but it’s really in the middle of nowhere).
Tom and I are on a mission to eat in every diner in London. This one was in an awesome tin can and was right on the shore, so you could see boats bobbing outside the windows, which made me feel a bit seasick.
They have jukeboxes on the tables…
…and serve milkshakes in industrial sized steel tumblers. These would go well with the steel straws I bought. The food was amazingly cheap too!
Container city was just outside the window, which are houses and offices made out of shipping containers – they kind of look like Lego.
Jenny sent us some yummy Japanese KitKats and a letter written on the back of a puzzle (it took us a long time to put it together) to congratulate us on our engagement.
Johnny also sent us a Patti Smith book and some mix CDs – can’t wait to have a listen and read!
On Monday, Alex took us to the Comedy Store, where we got to see 11 different comedians and on Tuesday, we had to go to a worky thing at Tom’s office. Other than that, I’ve been jogging, watching loads of movies and drawing a Crafterella comic, which I will show you soon.
Alex gave us a voucher for Love Film, so I’ve been getting through several movies a night and desperately need suggestions?
