Cricut - The Official Page! sent me a Cricut Mini cutting machine and it looks like so much fun. You can cut through all kinds of materials from paper and card to fabric and chipboard.

I'm going to be putting together some projects with it other the next month, so I'll let you know how I get on.

The Crochet Book by Cath Kidston also arrived, which is actually a book-shaped tin (I'm going to use it as a sewing kit).

The tin is filled with everything you need to crochet a granny square cushion.

I started making it today and got quite addicted to crochet. I can't wait to finish it for our new apartment.
