On the way home home, Mum helped me take drive-by photo of the icicles near Cowdenbeath.

In the afternoon we were invited over to my cousin Lisa Logan’s house for Boxing Day dinner. We were each given slippers, nibbles and lots of presents. I got lots of books from my wishlist including Danny Wallace and Tom got This Book Will Change Your Life by the Benrik people – I want to try and follow all of the suggestions for each day next year.

Lisa put a flower in my drink, which I watched blossom while I was drinking.

Lisa’s menagerie grows so much between visits. She now has two dogs, chickens, tarantulas, frogs and she’s on a waiting list for bees.
