We were back in Burntisland today, so I decided we would have a day as tourists and see all of the two sites the town has to offer.

We started with a walk down the beach. It looked pretty in the snow. I collected some shells so I could repair the Little Mermaid jewellery box my Mum had made for me when I was little.

We warmed up with lunch at Food For Thought, which use to be the ice cream parlour that Maisy visited in one of her books. We had paninis. Tom had a toasted teacake and tried to look as rosy cheeked as the boy on the box. We even got some free truffles.

I found my old piggy bank in my room, so we decided to gamble all the change in the penny falls at the Amusements, where Tom had a ride on a Harley.

We stopped by the supermarket on the way home where Santa was doing some elf, I mean shelf stacking. Tom was impressed that they sold proper bottles o’ ginger!
